Service Providers

Kidz Therapy Services is dedicated to a cohesive team approach and requires all ABA providers to attend monthly meetings to discuss strategies to strengthen and improve the services delivered to families. In addition, Kidz Therapy Services continuously offers in-services and workshops to provide our educators with the most current research and developments in the field.

Kidz Therapy Services prides itself on quality ABA services and is committed to helping each child work up to their fullest potential.

Consultants

At Kidz Therapy Services Board Certified Behavior Analysts function as consultants on each case and are responsible for monitoring therapy teams to ensure client success. Consultants continuously evaluate programs and troubleshoot to create the most effective treatment plan for each child. Consultants may also serve as important members of team meetings by providing goals and objectives, behavior intervention plans, and recommendations for comprehensive services for each child to be implemented in the home settings. Consultants also provide therapists with on-going supervision and training on the most current research and treatment strategies.

Team Leaders

At Kidz Therapy Services, Team Leaders are assigned to each case. Team Leaders play a crucial role in the ABA/VB treatment program in that they not only carry out the responsibilities of a Special Education teacher, but they also work as leaders of their assigned therapy teams. As Team Leaders, they are responsible for monitoring, maintaining and reviewing the ABA/VB program book, which includes academic, social and behavioral programs. The Team Leaders also supervises other Special Educators on the team to ensure consistency and appropriate implementation of ABA/VB goals. In addition, they also serve as a liaison between parents/teachers/therapists and the consultant.

Parent Trainers

The role of the Parent Trainer is to help parents incorporate the maintenance and generalization of skills acquired in the 1:1 setting. The Parent Trainer will also assist in broadening the parental knowledge base of the diagnosis and intervention. In addition, The Parent Trainer will address any on-going concerns and issues that the parent might have.

Special Educators

Special Educators apply the principles of behavior analysis to teach children to acquire skills and maximize their independence in the areas of academics, socialization, activities of daily living and communication. Special Educators are responsible for implementing 1:1 educational and behavioral intervention programs to children in their home and/or serve as instructional shadows in school settings. The Special Education teachers utilize discrete-trial, verbal behavior, incidental and "naturalistic" teaching methods to promote skill acquisition and generalization with each child.

Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals carry out many of the same functions as a Special Education teacher, with direct supervision from the Team Leader and Consultant assigned to the case. Paraprofessionals are responsible for providing 1:1 instruction to children in the home setting utilizing the techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis. The Paraprofessional will implement educational and behavioral programs as set forth by the Team Leader or Consultant.
